TNT. It can mean a couple of things, and both are powerful. TNT is confused with dynamite as being the same thing. However, the two are not similar at all. Dynamite is made of an absorbent medium coated in nitroglycerin and wrapped in a holding tube. TNT on the other hand is an actual compound, trinitrotoluene. Due to its relative insensitivities, TNT was deemed to be a safer alternative to dynamite. In other words, TNT needs to be ACTIVATED in order to show its power.
The other TNT is “The New Testament.” This is not only a portion of the Bible text, but the agreement God made with all people through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 7:22:
By so much was Jesus made a surety of a BETTER TESTAMENT.
Hebrews 9:15:
And for this cause he is the MEDIATOR OF THE NEW TESTAMENT, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the PROMISE of eternal inheritance.
When we understand our redemption through God’s promise of eternal life, we will ACTIVATE all the Father’s given us and all Him to work in us to show forth his might and power in Christ. We have the love of Christ, and that activates our believing and trust.
Galatians 5:6:
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth [prevails] any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which WORKETH [IS ENERGIZED] BY LOVE.
We can heal the sick, raise the dead, speak in tongues, and hear from the Father. Jesus showed us how, and said WE COULD TOO!
Mark 16:17,18:
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
John 14:12:
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I DO SHALL HE DO ALSO; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Like Paul, my prayer is that the Father shows us what we need each day so we make TNT [our new testament in Christ] even more “explosive” than the other TNT.
Ephesians 3:16 [The Passion Translation]:
And I pray that he would unveil within you the UNLIMITED RICHES OF HIS GLORY AND FAVOR until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and EXPLOSIVE POWER.
