Moving Ahead

Why do I remember, the past and my mistakes?
Why do I keep running back, where fear and worry takes
Me to where I don’t want, to go or ever live?
Now’s the time to take a stand, accepting all God gives!

Jesus Christ faced doubt and fear, and smacked it in the eye!
He stood his ground upon the truth, and gave his life to die
That we might live, in HIM, and cherish all our Father’s care.
Uniting hearts, and living strong, with victory through prayer.

I know not what tomorrow brings, upon this earthly sphere.
I can’t predict the future, with its doubts and hidden fear.
But I can boldly take a stand, up God’s mighty Word,
And serve a risen Jesus Christ, believing what I’ve heard!
