Faithfulness: Jesus Believes Psalm 20 Concerning Himself

I remember seeing “Old Faithful” at Yellowstone Park years ago with Sherry and our very young son. One of our spiritual fruit is “faithfulness.” Jesus was the example of that in trusting his Father and believing the Scriptures. Psalm 20 heralds what he would be and do.
A Psalm of David [about the true David, the Messiah]. The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.

Jesus knew that God was with him at all times, and that the Father heard his prayers. Jesus was strengthened out of “Zion,” God’s rock of strength and power. And the Father saw His Son’s heart to give and serve–his entire life was an offering and a “burnt sacrifice” of love and care for others.

Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

Time and time again, Jesus walked though danger and evil “fire” to be delivered by his Father, in Whom he trusted. God gave Jesus counsel and wisdom in his heart. God fulfilled Jesus’ requests because he asked in purity and truth. God saved HIS ANOINTED Son, who is now at the Father’s right hand. Jesus didn’t trust in man-made chariots or horses or worldly devices. He remembered his Father’s mighty name and overcame the adversary in all things.

Save, LORD: let the king [the chosen Messiah] hear us when we call.

Today, we call upon the Creator, our heavenly Father, through His Son, the King of kings, and Lord of lords. God hears all our prayers when we call upon Him in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen. I love you.

Now, it is Christ in us and, and we can live like Christ lived have a wonderful relationship with God our Father. We can talk directly to our creator and manifest that power within us at all times to help people, and minister to their needs, just like our savior did. Now we can read about us, and what we have been given from the 7 church epistles, and live a more than abundant life from the free gift that Jesus Christ made available from God. What spiritual freedom we have today to make known that liberty that we have in Christ Jesus, for others to receive that are hungering and thirsting to drink from the fountain of living waters, that we partake in. We died with Him , we were raised with Him, and resurrected with Him, and seated at the right hand of God with Him. Sealed with that holy spirit of promise. Thank you Father!
