A New Week for the Strong

We have names for our days of the week based on old Nordic deities. Here’s a new way to look at your week.

SONday: A day to live up to our privileges, rights, and responsibilities as God’s Sons. Jesus showed us how to do it.

C’MONday: A day to encourage others to walk in our Father’s grace, mercy, and love. Exhorting and encouraging builds each other up!

TWOSday: Spend time with a loved one, especially a brother or sister in the body of Christ. Married couples have an instant “twosome” to enjoy.

WINSday: Claim your victory in Christ to win in life. Help others see that Jesus brings victory over death and a grace-filled life today.

THIRSTday: Those who hunger and thirst for God’s righteousness will be filled and satisfied in His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s be filled with “fountains of living waters.”

FREEday: If we continue in Jesus and his words, we will know the truth and be free indeed! Bring liberty and deliverance to the captives by boldly speak God’s truth in love and ministering to others with the power of the Holy Spirit within you.

SITerday: Those who know how to speak in tongues [SIT] can pray in the spirit. We can pray both in the spirit and with our understanding, as Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 14. It is part of our spiritual wardrobe, according to Ephesians 6. Build yourself up in the inner man by praying in the spirit.

These are the days of the STRONG, not the days of the weak.

Amen. I love you.
