It’s funny how little changes can mean a lot. By changing only one letter we go from “love” to “live” to “life” to “lift” and then we change two letters to get “light.”
We love our heavenly Father above all else. We have made His Son, Jesus Christ, our lord. Now we are God’s “love lights” in life.
We live for our Father and serve our brother and lord. We have life in Jesus Christ, spiritual life that is a free gift, and we have eternal life in him.
And we lift our cares to our Father and thank Him for all we have in Christ, who is at God’s right hand making intercession for us.
Finally, we hold forth the light of God’s Word and do our utmost to build up the Body of Christ. We are each only one member in particular. Yet with Christ as the head of this wonderful Body of Christ, we can each do our part to bring wholeness and deliverance by God’s loving grace, mercy, and strength.
Enjoy the freedom that you have in Christ to be God’s lifelight wherever you go. And enjoy the changes, big and little, that you see each day as you walk and live for Him in the grace that is in Christ Jesus our lord!
