The End Is Near!

The END IS NEAR! Yes, 2025 is almost over. It’s often good to look back and reflect on things.

Psalms 42:4-6:
When I REMEMBER THESE THINGS, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the VOICE OF JOY AND PRAISE, with a multitude that kept holyday.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? HOPE THOU IN GOD: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore WILL I REMEMBER THEE….

Psalms 63:6-8:
When I REMEMBER THEE upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
Because THOU HAST BEEN MY HELP, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

Psalms 143:5:
I REMEMBER THE DAYS OF OLD; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.

When we review 2025, let’s think about the times we rejoiced and praised God with others. Let’s remember that our hope and trust is in our heavenly Father through His Son. As we go to sleep, we can remember how God has been our help. We can remember the past and meditate on God’s good works for us.

And we can anticipate the blessings to come.

Ephesians 2:10:
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus UNTO GOOD WORKS, which God hath before ordained [PREPARED BEFOREHAND] that we should walk in them.

Our Father knows everything we will do, so let’s do it for Him with a loving and faithful heart to serve. Then we will be, like Jesus Christ our wonderful brother and Lord, well pleasing to our Father.

Psalms 139:16-18 [Moffatt Translation]:
All the days of my life were FORESEEN BY THEE, set down within thy book; ere ever they were shaped, they were assigned me, ere ever one of them was mine.
0 God, what mysteries [secrets] I find in thee! How vast the NUMBER OF THY PURPOSES!
I try to count them? — they are more than the sand….

Mark 1:11:
And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I AM WELL PLEASED.

Colossians 1:10:
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord UNTO ALL PLEASING, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.

Your Father will work IN YOU to do those things that please Him.

Psalms 19:14:
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be ACCEPTABLE IN THY SIGHT, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Philippians 2:13:
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do OF HIS GOOD PLEASURE.

Enjoy looking back on all God’s blessings from this year. And prayerfully anticipate all the great things He will do for you in 2026! God is faithful, and so is our Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s be imitators of them in our daily lives. Amen.
