Time to get dressed.
Ephesians 6:12,13 [The Passion Translation]:
Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and EVIL SPIRITS that hold this dark world in bondage.
Because of this, YOU MUST WEAR all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.
You may not see, hear, or even feel the effect of evil spirits with your physical eyes, ears, and senses. But they ARE real and you can only defeat them by wearing the full protection [and offense] that God gives us through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Verses 14 to 18 detail what this is.
Put on TRUTH AS A BELT to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart.
Stand ON YOUR FEET ALERT, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.
In every battle, take FAITH AS YOUR WRAP-AROUND SHIELD, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One!
Embrace the power of SALVATION’S FULL DELIVERANCE, LIKE A HELMET to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp SPIRIT-SWORD OF THE SPOKEN WORD of God.
PRAY passionately IN THE SPIRIT, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers.
This takes lowliness and meekness, a humility to God with a thankful heart and a full-persuasion to follow our Lord Jesus. That happens when we walk by God’s spirit in us [“Christ in you”]. Let’s SLOW DOWN, GET DRESSED SPIRITUALLY, AND WALK OUT with God’s mercy, grace, and love to do His will by serving our Lord Jesus Christ in love.

Wow Gene, What a great mindset to wake up with and to wear all day long. Even the best of us get hood winked by the stealthfulness and the secrecy of that old birds moves. I see that happening big time today in false signs, miracles, and wonders. Mark 13:22, For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. So as those watchman of the body of Christ we must be aware of these things that our people mis-interpret as spiritual godliness, it needs to be confronted and pull the mask off of the posers, that are acting as true believers. You can change the label of the can but the inside is still the same. l John 4:1, Believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
