God, the Heart Searcher

God looks on our hearts. That’s where the essence of life begins and lives.

In a time when so many hearts were darkened, Noah found God’s grace.

Genesis 6:5,8:
And GOD SAW that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
But Noah found grace in the EYES OF THE LORD.

God knows every secret in our heart.

Psalms 44:21:
Shall not GOD SEARCH this out? for HE KNOWETH the secrets of the heart.

God knows our hearts’ thoughts long before we ever have them. He knows every word that our tongues will speak.

Psalms 139:2,4,23:
Thou KNOWEST my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou KNOWEST it altogether.
SEARCH me, O God, and KNOW my heart: try me, and KNOW my thoughts.

God can show us how to fellowship with others who have pure hearts. We can serve together in love.

Acts 1:24:
And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which KNOWEST the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen.

Even though some of the Judean Christians doubted that Cornelius and the Gentiles could be saved, God saw their hearts. He gave them holy spirit and they spoke in tongues to show forth God’s power.

Acts 15:8:
And God, which KNOWETH the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost [holy spirit], even as he did unto us.

God searches our hearts and supplies us with the perfect words to pray when we pray in the spirit by speaking in tongues. We can make intercession for other believers.

Romans 8:27:
And he that SEARCHETH the hearts KNOWETH what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Even when we feel bad and condemn ourselves, God is greater than our limited, little thinking and knows ALL THINGS. He can help us to be confident in Christ and overcome the adversary in our daily lives.

1 John 3:20:
For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and KNOWETH all things.

Let’s keep our hearts open and pure as we “renew” our minds to God’s Word through the power of the holy spirit.
