Let’s Keep Our Hearts in God’s Heart

Let’s keep our hearts in God’s heart,
In downpour or in shine,
Let’s always look to His Words,
And to His Son divine.

Let’s never doubt or worry,
Or lose our precious hope,
For every promise God makes,
Will come to pass, we know.

Whenever we feel upset,
Or downcast in our mind,
Remember He is present,
So faithful and so kind.

Despite the Devil’s courses,
And all the world’s despair,
We never lack His comfort,
For He is always there.

He says we’re “new creations,”
His children firm in Christ.
He says our brother saved us,
By giving his own life.

And as I live this new day,
And give it all I can,
I’ll softly, quietly, sweetly,
Give thanks for who I am.
