Let’s Open Our Hearts to the Father

 

Let’s open our hearts to the Father,
Let’s sing with a fervor and love,
Let’s put aside each fear and bother,
Let’s bask in His grace from above.

Upholding each soul we encounter,
With truth from our lips that will shine,
To brighten each seeker and doubter,
And give them a joy that’s divine.

Don’t worry about all your worries,
Don’t fret over what you don’t own.
Be one that runs forward and hurries,
To offer a heavenly home.

We need people in our fair nation,
Not afraid of the price it will cost,
To preach Christ and bring them salvation,
To win for their Master the lost.

Though tired, disheartened, and weary,
From slugging away in the fight,
Don’t turn from a pure-hearted query,
Your answer will bring forth the light.

Let’s open our hearts with assurance,
And walk in the spirit as sons.
The spirit of Christ gives endurance,
And through him each victory won!
