AI is nothing new. At the onset of mankind, people developed their own “artificial” intelligence.
God had given Adam and Eve “true” intelligence. They could walk by the spirit and talk with their Creator. Then Satan offered an “artificial” intelligence. They could “know” good and evil and they would “be as God.” They’d know EVERYTHING.
Genesis 3:5:
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your EYES SHALL BE OPENED, and ye shall be AS GODS [GOD, ELOHIM], knowing good and evil.
This evil choice cost man his freedom, and the entire world was enslaved in sin–except for faithful Noah [Genesis 6:5]. God rescued the world through that faithful man. But his descendants returned to the path of “artificial intelligence” to a much greater degree.
Genesis 11:1-4:
And the whole earth was of ONE LANGUAGE, and of ONE SPEECH.
And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may REACH UNTO HEAVEN [TOPPED WITH THE HEAVENS]; and let us make us a name [SHEM, A NEW BLOODLINE FOR OUR MESSIAH], lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
Satan kept pushing the “AI” technology that allowed people to replace God’s information about the coming Messiah written in the stars [see this link below for more details] with their OWN AI version of who the Messiah would be. They also wanted to destroy the true line that would lead to Christ and replace it with their “own” name. They feared that they would be “scattered” and not be able to make the entire world “one happy place.”
Here is what one recent article on artificial intelligence says: “In this world of rapid globalization and ever-growing cultural connections, AI is no longer a technology in its emergence but shaping up to unite cultures and even foster global peace.”
God had to come down to Babel and stop the Sam Altmans and Mark Zuckerbergs in those evil times. Let’s pray that He can do the same today before our intelligence is no longer coming from God’s spirit within us, but from some device attached to our hands. Let us pray for our children and grandchildren to be “delivered from this evil.”

I’ve been thinking about AI a lot recently (who hasn’t?). This is a great recap of some of the fundamentals Christians need to consider when thinking about AI–its benefits and its evils. Wow, God bless you for bringing this subject to light. What a great admonition to the Body of Christ (as well as to anyone that will read this) to unhook from this tower of Babel. Our elders especially need to be the example to the younger generations and teach them in the way God instructs them to go. What a clarion call. Time to wake up and smell the coffee. AI is truly the forbidden manmade fruit, encouraged by Satan to encompass the whole world, as sin did by the actions of Adam and Eve. I believe that we (as well as the whole world) doesn’t need AI instructing us or Google to know everything, but turning to the Word of God and utilizing the mind of Christ in us, for direction in all truth. Spiritual truth that can not be repudiated.
