O wondrous grace within me,That brings me life divine.
O font of endless mercy,
That ever more ‘tis mine.
The Father’s love extended
Through Christ to all who come,
Life’s burdened works now ended,
And saved in God’s own Son.
O may this gracious goodness
Fill ever more our days.
O may Christ’s precious wholeness
Show forth in all our ways.
We dare not trust in our own might
To conquer o’er the grave,
But only Jesus, our true light,
Who shines to love and save.
O may God’s tender kindness,
And gentle love now reign.
O may Christ heal our blindness,
And wash away each stain.
In him we are reminded
Of God’s own rest and peace.
No longer lost or blinded,
And from life’s sorrows cease.
Let every soul aflutter
Break forth in joyful song.
Let every tongue now utter
Grand praise both loud and long.
For we are filled with rapture,
And look unto that day
When Christ our Lord will capture
Our foes, and with us stay.
