People like to get the “last word.” What was Jesus’ last word on earth?
Today is 5/5. The number 5 in the Bible often refers to God’s grace. That’s His constant giving to us in love, no matter how we respond. Our loving Father is a great Giver. One of the greatest lessons we can learn in life is to RECEIVE His love and gifts with a thankful heart.
Here is a new hymn for a new day to rejoice in.

Let loose a song of love,
Rejoice in all before thee,
His boundless life of love.
O may our hearts before Him,
In thankfulness resound.

In His sweet grace be found.

Some people like to “put the cart before the horse.” At times, I’m one of them. But I’ve been learning that things don’t pull well that way. God’s way is always best.
I went for a run yesterday to the top of our hill. Which is like a small mountain. It was a sunny day with ocean views and beautiful flowering plants and even some nice people to meet.
I remember several big storms in my lifetime. When I was eight, my sister and I took shelter in the small shed adjacent to our house.Seated on a lawnmower, I felt safe from the pelting rain and crashing thunder.
