WE have authority over evil spirits. They are spiritually BENEATH OUR FEET because we are born again and share in all of the accomplished works of our risen Lord, Jesus Christ.
Bible historians say Paul wrote 1 Corinthians around AD 55, during his third missionary journey, while ministering in Ephesus. You can see this from Acts 19:1—20:1 and with the epistle itself [16:8,9]. Paul started the church at Corinth during his second missionary journey [Acts 18:1–17] between AD 50 to 52, staying there for about 18 months.
Some GOOD NEWS for today! God gave us each a body full of soul life to steward and care for. We are also stewards of God’s mystery, the one body of Christ.

The American evangelist Billy Sunday once said, “Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian any more than going to a garage makes you an automobile.” The only church that Jesus founded is a spiritual one. Men and women may do their best to form fellowship units within the body of Christ, but our true spiritual unity comes from ABOVE, not by pulling ourselves up by our own denominational bootstraps.
